And I make my grilled cheese with mayo on the outside instead of butter.

 

I think it's best with tomato soup, but I also like it with chili like @Tracy Wethington said. They are amazing with chips. He's missing out lol

 

Used to go to a bar that had great grilled cheese served with tater tots. Tater tots > chips

 

can be great with pickles on the side. BUT have to make sure the pickle juice doesn't get on the sandwich.
