Why? It's much better than getting a rejection because you went professional/semi-professional turker level speed and they really only wanted joe-shmoe respondents.

TP is the worst thing that has happened to mturk in my opinion, they take a big blame on the reduction of regular survey pay.

 

They take a quarter of what Prolific does and keeps academics who could never figure out how to use MTurk here instead of there. Def disagree.

Maybe in a vacuum, but nah, MTurk would be dead for academics w/o TP

 

I thought I did good on that qual too. jesus.

 

Anecdotal evidence I guess from my part, I know that in 2016 I could make $100 just hamming surveys all day. Now it's all about closed qual and high risk batches.
