    Yasss. I'm trying to math it out same I would insurance.

    Will $X burned to learn if Y applies or not going to save $X in costs from a last minute medical or education or w/e decision? Odds low? So are my odds of getting into a car wreck given I drive somewhere maybe 1x/week but I still shell out $100/mo to car insurance.

    But a lot of this is the vet-emotional-math pitch which I find distasteful so I appreciate everyone's experiences here.
