    I seem to be oddly off putting to ticks, cause we once came back from a camping trip this year and literally everyone picked up one except me. Long Island is tick central and I was super terrified of them because everyone got one at some point, but for whatever reason, me? nope! I'm sure my day will come, and it will be terrible. I will amass decades of ticks in one go.

    Are you me?! Before I moved down to Florida years back, I had never been bitten by a single mosquito (or if I did, I never noticed it). In one week, my entire lower back and thighs were covered in hunnnnnnnndreds of bites. My in-laws kept saying shit like "why don't you swat at em when they land on you, dummy?!" Well, I legit can't feel when mosquitoes land on me until they've already bitten me! Ever since that summer, back in Washington now, I have almost an allergic-size reaction to any bites.
