I don't know why it took me so long to think of this, but I just found my new favorite way to roll out sheets of butter- I used my vacuum seal bags for my foodsaver!I cut out a slighty bigger size than I needed, lightly floured the inside, stuck my butter into it, and BAM. Got a nice square and didn't have to fuss with stacking sheets of wax paper or plastic wrap or whatever. Matt didn't fully appreciate why I was so jazzed about this.
