03/08 - Frigid Friday!

The load time of a single hit is irrelevant in a batch if your workflow isn't garbage.

 

I've had problems before with this mturk hit template. pretty sure it's a bad hit template rather than the requester's fault.

 

The template is just ass

 

I'm taking it you mean do a different batch that pays better to where load times will not effect it?

 

No that isn't what I mean at all.

 

I guess I'm confused as I cannot improve load times it's not on my end. I don't speak business lingo sorry lol.

 

What he means is opening 5 hits in different tabs and using ctrl+tab to cycle them, effectively negating loading times (it loads in a tab you aren't working on).

This is working a lot better but I agree. It seems if you open up a whole bunch however you only need to reload on the first one.

What is your resolution of your monitor? Did you have your browser in full screen when you did those hits?

Yes you still have lots of room to improve that workflow but that is at least a good start.

 

What are everyone's thoughts on that Goldman HIT? I did a bunch, but if this guy turns out to be shady, I'm essentially ruined

(I didn't intend to do as many as I did - it was going really smoothly, and I didn't pay attention to the amount of time that had passed/how many I had done)

 

Also do you have display scaling turned on for the monitor that you did the hits on?

It would look something like that.

 

resolution is 1920x1080. I never have browser in full screen. I have 1 large monitor. 1/2 of it has hits I'm working, other 1/2 has other stuff.

 

Don't do more than you can afford to be rejected.
