I'm the UserBob requester. A worker recently commented on TurkOpticon about how terrible the experience is uploading the video files to UserBob. Please let me know if you've had problems too. Have you noticed if this problem happens all the time or does it seem random?
it's never been a problem for me. it's literally point/click, I don't see what else you could do on your end. I can imagine if you have 0.1 mb upload speed it wouldn't be fun.
I don't do your HITs, so I can't speak from experience. What I will say, however, is that most people who will leave a scathing review on TO are people who really can't be pleased in general. Your reviews on turkerview seem to be pretty unanimously positive. https://turkerview.com/requesters/A1G1PATDFBA7E5-userbob Hopefully someone who does the HITs can give you more insight here.
Hey, I've been doing your HITs for over a year now and thank you! With regards to the uploading, I've never experienced any errors or anything that would lead to someone calling it terrible. For the longer HITs like the 5 minute ones and also the mobile ones it can take a decent amount of time to upload but it pops up in its own little window and I just let it upload in the background. Can't think of anything with it that would be complaint worthy. As @DarkChild pointed out, TO can be kind of ridiculous sometimes on their reviews.
I've been doing your hits for 2 years or so and although upload speed can vary, isit usually a breeze and most certainly an easy process to figure it out. Thanks so much! I love your HITS
Anyone want to join our March Madness bracket? http://fantasy.espn.com/tournament-...05NDlGLTEyQzAwMjM3OEVDM30=&invitesource=email password=mturk
This was great I used to do brackets every year but hadn't done one in a in about 3 years. I was doing pretty good until UNC put the hurt on me lol. Living in 9th place now but oh well definitely a lot of fun. As far as uploads go I've never had a problem and I couldn't really see how they could be improved much on your end.
I had sent them an email asking about possibly adding an FTP account for workers who do their HITs regularly, but that's probably a far-fetched request and a security nightmare if I'm being honest.
