    That may be what happens for her (and I just pay the penalty). I wouldn't even worry because she is out in 3 months anyhow if she wasn't sick at least 2 times a month now ..before I never had to worry about it because the kid used only be sick 1x a year..now not the case (sighhhhh).

    Also I have a really shitty plan, and haven't been to a doctor in like fifteen years, so I did the whole avoiding insurance for a while.

    But after biting the bullet and signing up - I've learned that it's honestly relatively cheap if you dont make a shitload of money.

    It's still a 10k deductible or whatever, but I basically only have it for the off-chance I get cancer, and I suppose it'll help me avoid bankruptcy that way.
