    This morning I couldn't get him to wear his winter coat without snow pants, because he said it looked like a dress. This went on and on until he screamed at me, "I DON'T WANT TO LOOK LIKE A GIRL!!!" To which I replied, "Put on your coat or you lose all of your toys forever!"

    As a parent, you know when you've fucked up immediately, because that was met with a sound normally heard from dragons in game of thrones.

    I took him to Tim Horton's to bury the hatchet over coffee and chocolate milk and he was half an hour late for school. Now I'm sitting here wondering what the most ridiculous thing I've ever said to him was...losing all of your toys forever is up there, but surely other parents have said similar illogical, impractical stuff on a Monday morning before?
