Man, that's some dirty water. lol Roommates black cat gets filthy, too. I keep a white sheet on my bed so the cats don't get hair all over the covers and everywhere she lays is always filthy. I go through about 7-8 sticky roller sheets a night before folding the cover down and getting into bed. The other 2 tabbies aren't nearly as dirty and don't shed as much as the little Tuxedo girl.

 

We have a top sheet where he lays, cause he's dirty and leaky. (We also have plastic laid down in a few spots, cause he occasionally likes to pee on things still) Between the drool and his wet farts (he's much better than he used to be, but just so old and leaky lol), that boy is a hot mess! I foam shampoo him between washes and we brush him every day and a couple of the other cats force groom him, but he's just an old man mess! I love my garbo cat, tho, even if he thinks he should bite the person scrubbing his gross little feet. If you refuse to groom yourself, you get the bath again!

 

The one thing I can't get any of my kitties to do is hang out in water. So good on you for doing the improbable.

The key is to wear him down while he attempts to flee and you can somehow still scrub him while holding him down- he eventually gives up and lays there for awhile, gathering strength. He’ll perk up again and try to climb me or the faucet like a tree
