    Poundcake, that I also bake, too.

    It wasn't even the food, it was the way they went down. I'm fine with everyone doing a seafood night. I can just chill and drink wine, but the fact I got an email where I was already assigned food, was what really rubbed me wrong. Keep in mind I brought ALL the food the week before, because everyone else forgot.

    Shrimp is tasty and delicious and my mom never bought any for us as kids because my oldest sister was allergic to shellfish :(

    I mean, I did use past tense there. Her kids also aren't allowed to have shrimp because they worry more about them potentially being allergic than actually getting an allergy test done.

    Man, I feel bad for anyone with a food allergy honestly. Shellfish and seafood is great and I would be terribly sad to not be able to eat it.

    Allergic to shrimp, shellfish, scallops. Have been since I was itty bitty and my mom gave me a skrimp and my entire body turned red and my tongue blew up in size. I've been lucky in that most of my food allergies are mild, but I was hospitalized once and it SUCKED.
