(In reality we're all a bunch of people that have some twisted need that's being met by being members of this community...why doesn't some requester study that social phenomenon and see if we're helping to solve the depression crises by giving each other a sense of belonging???...)

(honestly, if I was still in school, I would submit a proposal for funding to study this.)
