Hopefully this is a bridge I will never have to come across. I can't even manage to keep myself on top of everything I should be doing, let alone care for another person then to throw a disability on top of it. I don't think I would be a very good mom lol

Thank you! It's super comfy and has Bluetooth and pandora built in which I like for my commute. Has a nice backup camera too which will help with the parking garage at work.

When I was pg with Son, some tests came back that indicated there could be some scary things going on. Doctors asked if I wanted an amnio to get full info, and I said no. I didn't want to risk anything after losing my first bio child, and I knew from having her that no matter what might or might not be wrong with Son, I'd handle it due to that love.

He turned out fine. No issues (well, no issues predicted in THAT test, lol. He HAS issues...he's a teenager...)

 

Most people aren't very good parents, the best you can really do is well, your best, you know?

I said the same thing. Somehow I ended up with the most well behaved child in school, and I'm counting pre-k through senior. I don't know how this happened because I am not typical mother material.

I disagree. Watch the news for an hour. There are too many children getting left in dumpsters, hurt, & killed. If you honestly don't think you can handle being a mom, don't. Being a parent...or not...doesn't make you more or less of a person. It isn't a requirement. Don't put yourself and a tiny human in a situation neither of you want or can handle.

my friend's mom is a nurse. She was telling us a story about having to push an old man's intestines back inside the old man. Also made it seem like it was a thing she has to do often.

She drinks heavily

 

I get a lot of pretty awful stories, but to top it off, they're all severely premature babies that weigh like a pound.
