    I'm that kind of mom. lmao. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing but my kid will have some great lessons by the time she's an adult.

    I used to get grounded for getting less than 90:afraid: My dad later made an exception for honors/AP math class, and I was allowed to get an 85 or above.

    I can't even imagine getting detention. I think I would have been grounded for life. Except, I STILL am grounded for the single bad grade I got in college, despite the fact that I didnt live at home anymore and never did again. He still reminds me that I'm grounded when he sees me. :ak:

    I agree with you guys. If you don't teach your kids good manners and motivation they will grow up to not be able to take care of themselves. I have extremely high expectations for my son but I'm not over the top unreasonable.

    He knows back talk is not allowed however if he disagrees with something he knows he can talk to me about it in an appropriate manner. He also knows if he starts slacking in school he will lose things but I don't seem to have to worry about that as he is holding a 4.0 and doin two sports at the same time.

    Probably gonna start turking again next week. Got married about 2 weeks ago and it depleted my motorcycle restoring funds. :(

    But, I do have 5 referrals for Lionbridge which pays a much better rate than Appen. Per task instead of hourly. If you're a decent turker you can make anywhere between $15 - $30 an hour depending on the tasks. I usually average around $15 lately because it's super boring to me. The test is SUPER hard though. Gotta control F on the guidelines for the test.
