I tend to see more higher paying surveys in the summer although surveys themselves become less frequent

 

Summers are no worse for me, probably better actually.

Lots of research still happens. Many graduate students and faculty still do research over summers, especially now that they aren't stuck using the campus community for research subjects.

 

I make far less money in summers and falls. sometimes half as much.

 

Let's not forget I have a cat named Hat.

 

I just like money, I have been slowly increasing my quals, I prefer batches and other work recently to surveys, I have been making more money off transcription than surveys recently. I think surveys are easier for newer turkers because of the lack of quals and there is usually less of a learning curve, but batches definitely provide a much more sustainable, higher opportunity of income

 

But wait.

Summers suck.

Y'all can just take them off, go on vacation, and come back refreshed in September for another 9 months of turking!
