I feel like I'm asking too much of you.... but if you don't mind to answer, is it actually cheaper to build? If so I'll learn (hopefully, I think I'm capable)

Uhhh what do you require as a sacrifice? Some sort of dark gif ritual, I assume?

Outside of a crazy sale on a prebuilt yes. You also get higher quality parts compared to the shit that prebuilts throw in.

As far as a sacrifice the motherboard cover plate will accept your blood whether you want to give it or don't.

Unless the motherboard you get has one the fancy built in ones and then you won't have that lol.

There are plenty of videos on how to build a PC but I don't have a good one in mind and lots of places like https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/ will help you make sure that your build is on the up and up before you buy.

You can always ask here as well but uh honestly I don't really keep up with the day to day prices.

The subreddit links to these build videos but it will be slightly different for the ryzen processor install as this is an intel CPU build (I assume without even opening the videos). It isn't a huge difference but the CPU install process is a bit different and you need to be a bit more careful with AMD processors. Past that it is ezpz

Also to add on here, a lot of the prebuilt brands (looking at you here, HP and Dell) have custom parts, so that when one part fails, you have to replace the entire thing either with their parts or get stuck replacing the entire machine. When I wanted to replace my CPU earlier this year, I could only use HP parts because that's the shitty prebuilt I had so I chucked the entire thing and built my own PC instead since that would've come out better (both in terms of specs and longevity) than swallowing more big fat HP heatsinks.

A normal PC is so upgradable that you can replace every part of it until the original PC is completely gone. My computer is basically like that as in a theseus ship of sorts. The only part I have left from my 2011 build is a case fan or two. Perhaps a HDD? Everything else has been slowly replaced without any issues.

Just my two cents: when I was in HS, I took a class where the first day, the teacher just told us to each put together a PC from the parts in the closet with no instructions. Everyone was able to do it eventually, even the kid dumb enough to bring a knife to school and get expelled later.
