I'm sure you all have discussed this in detail, but in looking at these corn tasks, I'm wondering how they sleep at night when they're expecting these to be done within 3% accuracy and only offering $1.50/hr give or take. I'd like to think that they're just oblivious to what they're pulling and might slap themselves out of it. I'm just surprised that the pay is so low when the HIT is laid out with a certain degree of intelligence and the instructions seem to be above-average on the articulate scale.

 

Don't mock my favorite hit! Actually have no idea never have seen this but it sounds horrifying.

There's no country qual, and like $1.50/hr isn't absolutely terrible pay in the third world. If you have an issue with the pay, don't do the hit, especially given that not every single task on mturk is made with first world pay standards in mind.

I don't even know what to think of requesters that do this . It's like, don't know if stupid or just bad person.
