I am aware. But this, honestly, is the hard work of parenting. It's what we signed up for when we had kids. My now 24 year old (non bio) kid got EXPELLED in October of his Freshman year of high school. Me and his other parents teamed up to nip his little issues in the bud before they got worse.

And my baby is 15. Not causing issues like this but I did use the F word in the car at him this morning out of frustration because he DID NOT do what I asked and encouraged him to do yesterday to ensure taking him to his first day of school was smooth and didn't make me late for work. Again, not the same level, but it is a balance trying to walk making them fully responsible while setting guidelines and making sure my life can go smoothly, too. While I do partially run this business, I do need to be here to OPEN it.

And thankfully it's not illegal to yell "what the f*ck!" at your kid in a car when they tell you what they forgot.

 

There are some cities that have laws against that.
