If you decide to go forward with this act of enlightenment {{!!}}, consider a postal mail, not email, with your full name and address - In other words as formal as possible. Might even consider sending it registered, with a cc to your provincial representative maybe or the Dean of the university. For some unknown reason in this age of email, folks take a printed letter more seriously, cc-ing adds some weight to it and gets it past the secretary who opens all the mail. No need to go overboard but this is a serious issue! (After all, you are a voter, right?) Also recommend it not be lengthy, as short and sweet as possible with few if any adjectives and adverbs. You certainly don't want it coming back and biting you in the a**.

 

I go to starved rock every year at least twice for camping.

we don't camp at starved rock though, since it's like 30 bucks a night or something outrageous and always packed.

We go to a little state park called illini state park which is a few miles away, and just drive to starved rock for the day and sleep at illini.

Cons:
You are asked about your Drive or Dropbox details. Asked is a very loose way to put it. In reality you need to grant access to either one which is later referenced in the study where they bring up the relevancy of 25 documents held within your Drive/Dropbox account. According to the briefing at the beginning, documents are not read, shared, or stored, but just file names are read. This was reassuring, however leaves me a little on edge since I use Drive for my most important docs. Either way, I have since changed my passwords and enabled 2FA for now just as a precaution since some of the file names that they brought up were tax returns and lease documentation.

The most sane thing to do here would be to actually do the hit, see what it *actually* pays, then contact their IRB. A lot of requesters are absolutely clueless about how much they pay, how much should be fair pay, how long their surveys actually take, and all that other jazz.
