1. The forum & main site will stay up indefinitely after MTurk shuts down in case anyone needs anything. I assume a handful of things will break after MTurk vaporizes & I'll fix it as fast as I can to keep the two main parts of the site online.

    For a short period in my turking "career" I was ALL ABOUT batches and hardly did any surveys. That's an incredibly short sided view of things. There have been a few surveys posted today alone that pay well into the $50/hour range or higher when you look at the time spent vs. reward. I was letting that kind of HIT go by in the past because I was busy grinding "dem batches" making $10 or $12/hour and thinking I was the king. The goal is fine tuning your workflow so you can spot and catch both surveys and batches that pay well (and sometimes even ones you actually enjoy doing).
