    Usual stuff. Sometimes we would paint the bags we wore on our heads...a few of us even did macaroni art on them! I Unsurprisingly seeing someone walking around with a multicolored macaroni covered bag on their head didn't help the whole social stigma thing.

    OH We made long haired wigs so when we would stare at the ground, we could hang our hair over our faces. That way the beautiful people didn't have to look at us!! Guess that's why my hair is still down to my butt. :emoji_thinking:

    I use Tresemme. It works for me, but I have to wash my hair every day. Otherwise it looks greasy.

    Mine was butchered about 12 years ago. I've never gone back to a "professional" stylist again. I trim my own. I'm too scared. :emoji_joy:

    I suck at cutting hair. I have naturally curly hair and for some reason it always ends up getting cut 2-3 inches shorter than what I ask for. Now I'm going to have to flat iron it daily for a while or it's just going to be a big red curly poof.

    I have a funny story about the one time in my life I got my hair butchered... I was 19ish.

    I went to this place to get it cut and the women doing it had...large...uh, jiggly bits and she was like "I'm going to make you look like Jim Morrison"

    Well, I was too fixated on the aforementioned jiggly bits in my face I didn't question it! Jim Morrison had long hair!

    It wasn't until I saw about 8 inches of hair hit the floor that I realized "oh no, she meant SHORT haired Jim Morrison"
