Watching my score drop by 15 points after that TD nonsense just killed my soul a bit.

Now, on the other hand, my other team is just ready to brutalize all Matt's coworkers again. BIRDIE'S REIGN OF TERROR HAS JUST BEGUN

I really enjoyed the guy who runs it explaining to me why he thinks it's better if there isn't a 9th team and how as a girl, I just can't hope to win anyway, because I just don't understand football like he does. So, anyway, I'm just running someone else's team again and I'm going to absolutely destroy that dude YET AGAIN. The level of personal rage I feel from some Ken doll looking mofo telling me that I can't possibly know anything about the sports ball is just unreal. :bearnielazer::bearnielazer:

I'm going to Myrtle Beach for a little working vacation. I have 1 question:

    A) Is there an app or script out there (preferably free, but I'll pay if I must) that will let me turn my computer into a fileserver? I don't know what files I may need down there.

Just use teamviewer (free) or similar remote desktop apps? Can just log into the PC & email yourself something if you need it? I'd think that's better than opening up the network as a server but idk not an IT guy

:flail: You'll have to catch me first. Do you think teamviewer will go inactive? I don't have screen saver or auto powerdown, but I've never held a connection open longer than a couple of hours.

The way TeamViewer works is that the process is always running in the background so that you can open/close sessions from your phone/laptop/whatever remotely.

So as long as your PC has power & internet you'll be fine - just make sure to setup all the connections BEFORE you leave and make sure they work because sometimes it asks for your password and it's been a while since I set it up so I don't remember when that happens lol (I believe it's only on first connection but could be depending on settings?)

I also THINK it can do wake on lan so even if you lose power you might be able to boot the PC remotely but tbh I never set that up or tried so can't speak to reliability there

I feel like anydesk is better than teamviewer but either way I like to also have a backup chrome remote desktop setup just in case you need to fix the setup.

Wouldn't doubt it. Honestly teamviewer is pretty lackluster but it's already set up so I don't bother looking for alternatives haha

Is teamviewer even free for personal use? I feel like those jerks will remove the free option at some point if they haven't already.
