    People have trouble getting alcohol and here I can just go through my local drive-thru daiquiri place if I'm too lazy to get out of the car.

    Most liquor stores by me close by 10pm. I was recently super surprised and excited cuz they decided to open the one right here on Sundays 12pm-7pm (most of them are closed or I could drive 40 minutes to get to one open 12pm-5pm). Of course that means I need to remember they close at 7pm and get there before and such.

    That's all there is to do here.. we handle it like men, by repressing all of our base urges to get rip roaring drunk, strip down to our skivvies, and lose all the money we don't have playing online poker at 4AM on Sunday.

    Doesn't matter to me, because I don't drink. I'll take my state that costs way less to live in than CA over less restrictive liquor laws every day.

    At least some of yall know its either restricted or not. In MD its like a fucking guessing game. In my county some grocery stores sell beer and others don't. There are two 7-11 in within half a mile of each other. One sells booze and other cannot. On sundays some liquors stores will sell beer and wine while the others can't/dont idk. The only rule i know for a fact that is statewide is no sell of spirits on sunday. One county is liquor control county and you can only buy spirits from county controlled stores. It's just a mess

    I cannot even tell you how many last minute dashes me and the friends made at 1:45 am because we weren't done drinking yet.

    Back in the day. I don't drink now, lol. I think I killed my liver before the age of 30.
