    My buddy in baltimore has the same issue. He found out a few specific places and grocery stores to get beer near his house, but it took him a lot longer than it really should.

    The silliest part to me is the arbitrary quantity limit. I think it's 192 fl. oz., which is more than two six packs, but less than three six packs, so, y'know.

    But the stupidest part of it is that it's a limit per transaction. There is nothing to stop you from buying two six packs, putting them in your car, and then coming back to buy another two six packs.

    Or, I buy two six packs, hand them to my wife, and, quite literally as soon as she steps over the line on the floor that separates the evil and dangerous alcohol section of the shop from the boring food section of the shop, I can buy another two six packs.

    Stupid, stupid, stupid. Welcome to my idiotic and anachronistic state commonwealth.

    I used to gamble while drinking but I have a story that is so unbelievably hilarious that if I honestly didn't have pictures from my ex-girlfriend documenting it I wouldn't believe it.


    Apparently I got super drunk at a poker table and won like $5000 from all the college kids that had been watching poker on TV and thought going all-in on like every hand meant no one would call a bluff. The casino decided I was a "high roller" and asked me to move to the high stakes table.

    When my girlfriend at the time finally found me I was smoking cigars talking trash to like 60-year-old men in the private high stakes room.


    When I woke up the next day I came to the conclusion that I was going to end up being gunned down by some old man in a cowboy hat named Tex or something and stopped drinking when I play poker.

    Yes its basically like that statewide it makes no sense. Everytime people visit from out of state they are confused to why they can't get booze. They are like I went to the grocery store and gas stations but no luck. On the other hand I go out of state and im like oh fuck i can get gas and booze or food and booze at grocery stores. I go to austin every year and still am amazed i can get beer from a cvs
