    Is there like massive competition to rescue animals where you are?

    Here if I showed up wanting a specific dog they'd probably try and send me home with three more!

    Our shelters send you away with a bundle of free stuff (food, blankets, collars, coupons, etc.) when you adopt they're so desperate. Our last kitty left with a serious swag bag.

    Surprisingly yes. Our shelters get cleaned out on a monthly or so basis. In the smaller towns anywho, but the bigger ones get cleaned out every few months or so.
