    I always thought of them as a bathroom where all areas can get wet (wall / floor) and drain out into the main drain. I think it came out of hospital/disable bathroom then someone thought it would be great to have that for easy cleaning and less space.

    My parents had an RV growing up. To my knowledge, any RV I've been in has a wetroom as as bathroom.

    Totally normal for me, lol. Makes keeping the toilet clean easy. As a kid I used to wish our bathroom was like the RV's so it was easier to keep clean.
