    Is there a charity that would be universally appreciated? Maybe like a local animal rescue or something might sell mugs or glasses or ornaments, so it's a donation gift too.

    @Tracy Wethington Totally depends on what the kids are like, but candles, incense, dreamcatchers, or potted plants would have gone over really well with me at any age. Maybe a journal or moleskin notebook. Locally made fancy lip balm or soap.

    So, every year for a while now I've had to come up with ideas for teenagers as gifts for Easter (and some Christmas). That's where some of my ideas come from, my previous research!

    Local Foods from a farmers market - here in upstate NY, maple syrup or maple candies are a WIN WIN for most of my family.
    Jigsaw puzzles - this is my fave thing to get!
    A bottle of a local beer or hard cider for the adults
