Amazon doesn't look at every script and decide if it violates TOS or not. As to how they enforce things like excessive page requests remains a mystery to the workers. I just made a very quick glance of the mturk script and I didn't see anything on it that violates TOS but I didn't examine it closely and who knows what Amazon may choose to get upset over in the future.

Nope. The only scripts that violate ToS are those that fill out hits for you (instead of you using your own human judgement.) Scripts that improve workflow are allowed. [That One Script Whose Name is Censored] isn't really that widely used by actually experienced turkers, though, so it's never going to be an accurate gauge of if there's work or not.

Don't stress about it. The cool kids have custom tags under their avatars, now. That's what you want to aim for.

Don't bug @ChrisTurk about it, though...you've got to annoy the mods. They'll pretend they don't know anything; it's a sneaky ploy. Keep bugging them, multiple times an hour, until they give in.

I'm salty about that too...been pushing for my "No Gods, No Masters Qual" tag for a while...that and I almost *never* do surveys, so I don't know why it's defaulted to "Survey Slinger" :/
