Is it that bad? What blows my mind is the meat alternatives are still so processed, and while healthier than meat (or I'm assuming they are), still don't seem like the greatest things to eat (due to how processed they are).

Apparently Beyond Meat's stock crushed it this week though... may be why this survey is up rn

@WillowWolf been meaning to tell you that I LOVE your avatar! I love cats but big dogs are super cool too! We had a timber wolf when we were kids- awesome dog. Then I had a Belgian shepherd when I was in my 20's- had her for for a few years, but when I quit the job I had where I took her to work with me, she freaked out being locked in the house all day alone. So, I gave her to really good friends of mine that lived on a horse farm in NC and she spent the rest of her days running free.

 

Oh snap! I forgot about this. I wasn't going to join cause of book costs uncertainty, but I can borrow them online. @ChrisTurk Badge me too!

Honestly for me it was mostly the texture. It doesn't feel anything like a real burger. It was too fibrous, as you would expect from eating something composed entirely of plant matter. I'm all for meat alternatives. I think grown meat is our answer, but right now that's just not cost efficient yet.

 

I thought it was alright, not awful and definitely not meat but not disgusting. As for "processed" I'm not really sure what you mean because that's pretty broad and not inherently something bad.
