UK = United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

I think that's right? Tried to memorize it when my kid moved to Wales for Uni.

 

Northern Ireland is part of the UK, or "Her Majesty's United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland". Great Britain is the island which includes England, Scotland, and Wales.
