I've done a number of hits for this requester and communicated with him on problems and found him to be super responsive. That said - never have done a smartphone app one for him.

The issue is that this is a university affiliated requester (Stanford, to be exact) literally buying 5 star reviews for an app that's supposed to help with research into autism.

 

What do you mean?

 

I've done the autism hits - they aren't easy, but are fairly paid and well thought out for the most part. I'm confused as to what is happening here. I know I am a newbie but really liked these hits, felt like the researcher corresponded quickly and fairly so not sure what you mean about buying a 5 star review?

 

Would you trust buying into an app that has blatantly fake 5 star reviews from people who've never used it? Say you're buying a vacuum cleaner on Amazon that has a lot of 5 star reviews. However, upon further investigation, the majority of those reviews are bought because the manufacturer offers them a $20 voucher to leave a positive review. Would you not feel deceived? Especially if you buy it and it turns out the vacuum cleaner is some cheap piece of made in China junk. Now imagine doing this for an app that is supposed to help diagnose and further treat autistic children, isn't that even more shady?
