I thought I needed new glasses again (just got new ones less than a year ago) until I thoroughly cleaned my bedroom and rid it of most of the dust and cat hair that had built up on my bed.

Turns out I was having an allergic reaction to all that yuckiness. I'm mildly allergic to cats (so, of course, I have three) and am also mildly allergic to dust.

Just gotta keep up on the cleaning now!

I've got terrible astigmatism and since I got my last pair or glasses 2-ish years ago my sight has become a lot worse. I was at a fast food restaurant the other day and the menu was just a few feet away from me back-lit as hell and I was squinting trying to get it to focus for me. Sigh. I found a couple I'm going to try out on the way home tonight. I listened to one this morning but I didn't sleep at all well and was struggling with Apple's rubbish podcast app, so that wasn't the best experience.

 

Hey now, not only do I now vacuum more than once a week (thanks to my roomba), but I washed my sheets yesterday!!

 

I wash my sheets a lot (which I recommend, @Masterbah !). But the critters have been sleeping directly on my pillow! And my flannel duvet cover was coated in silky cat hair.

I vacuumed the heck out of my room (hardwood floors) and got rid of all dust/fur-bunnies, washed all bedding and vacuumed the mattress and all the bed framing. Made a huge difference!

Of course, the creatures are determined...

(mentally communicating a plan to spread as much hair as possible)

 

Ours is like that but it'd be nice if it would hurry up and come in since I'm well broke.
