There are a number of videos like this and every time they go for the person with their back turned- even, like in this one, when he turns and looks at them- as soon as he turns around again, they are compelled to sneak up on him. When I think of getting attacked by a lion, I never think of it sneaking up and attacking from behind.

Lots of mountain bikers put eyes on the back of their helmets as well because mountain lions are gullible.

 

Our cats get their feelings hurt and walk off in a huff if I turn my back to them and when they are mad or feel like I'm ignoring them, they will turn their back to me.

I've been noticing this lately. Wasn't sure if I was being paranoid, but it sure seems like some requesters put a well-paying HIT up for a day, and then put it up for the next week with a dramatically reduced payment.

 

I will gladly take one for the team and get a more accurate reading up.
