i just caught it and as unity loaded, i threw me into a button that finished the experiment even before it loaded and i wound up at the debriefing questions, sounds utterly broken

Look, I get that research funds are limited, but I'm quite sure there's some way for requesters to threaten / cajole / blackmail politely invite a couple of students to pre-test their surveys so they can get useful feedback such as, "hey, this comprehension check question is so ambiguous as to be a totally invalid test of whether the survey participant actually comprehended what they were reading. In fact, based on how you wrote it, I'm not sure if you would pass your own comprehension check".

ive been running into this more and more. there is a great one that floated around a few weeks back with the statement to "write what this item is". the item was a graham cracker with chocolate and a marshmallow. so right away your brain goes, OH THATS A S'MORE! nope...i entered that spelled just that way and DQ'd out. i looked at the survey totally confused, looked up dictionary.com and saw, indeed, i had spelled it correct;y. i shot the requester an email to get a reply that their "spelling was correct and you must have spelled it wrong or not be from the Untied States". Yes, the "UNTIED STATES" that said it all right there for me

 

Anyone else about to call it a day? I've been working since 6am (8ish hours) and have made $22 :'(

 

I've had that graham cracker question a bunch, theres too many ways to spell something like that just make it a sweet potato or something.

 

I've put smore every time and haven't had any problems. Probably gotten it 20 times by now

 

but then is it a sweet potato or a yam?
and things like that bring up local variations in naming/spelling, even just in the US. stuff like that needs to be something solid, ie. whats 1+1
