What does 2.9%+20 mean? Oh and hi everyone- haven't been working much lately- doing other stuff and taking a break...

How do I cash out money from my Circle account?
Cashing out funds from your Circle account is simple and secure. All you need is a linked card or bank that will act as a destination for your money.

1. On the main account page, select Cash Out
2. Enter the amount you want to cash out and select the destination account for the funds
3. Click Continue
4. Before the cash out is initiated, you must confirm all of the details
5. After selecting the green Cash Out button, Circle sends a verification code by SMS to your phone to confirm your intent because we want ensure that whoever is withdrawing money is really you. Instead of using SMS, you can use the Google Authenticator App as your preferred two-factor authentication method in your Settings.

After cashing out from Circle, the transaction will be marked complete, and your money will arrive back to your card in 1 - 4 business days.

Note: Circle services are free but we charge 2.9% to cover the credit card transaction fees, if you still have a credit card that you use. No fees are applied when cashing out to a debit card or a bank account.

PayPal charges 30cents + 2.9% of the total transaction amount for all money sent/received (one end has to pay it). Prolific is essentially offloading the fees onto users who are withdrawing less than $20 because withdrawals under that amount make the .30 base fee costly.

If someone withdraws $1 from them using PP they essentially have to pay 130% because the .30 base fee is stupidly expensive. Idk why they're only dumping .20 of the .30 fee onto users.

In other words we have to work around a bit but we can still transfer for free right
