It's clearly Caturday.

 

My poor ball of neurosis is straight up not having a good day.

He whined at me while I worked in the garden for a few hours where he could see me but not be near me: Trigger 1. Until it started to storm: Trigger 2. While I showered, my bluetooth speaker beeped as the battery died, and he's afraid of high-pitched beeps: Trigger 3. I gave him his chill out treats, he took a nice nap, looked out the window, saw a white van drive by: Trigger 4. Wind picked up, stormed again: Trigger 5. Calmed down, then one of my CO detector beeped (see Trigger 3) (low battery, there's no CO threat): Trigger 6. We hung out in the bathroom, he calmed down, came back out to a tornado warning (see Trigger 3) alert on tv: Trigger 7. Back in the bathroom until he calmed down, when I went to stand up, I accidentally knocked something off of the sink and it fell into and broke my bathroom garbage can with the loudest shattering noise ever: Trigger 8. Back out in the living room, oh look, another storm, more wind. But a cuddle puddle of blankets seems to have done the trick this time.

I wish dogs could speak English for just 2 friggin seconds so I can tell him he's 1000000% safe and I'd never let the beep monster or wind or rain hurt him.
