I've just in the past jumped from $50 to $200 and didn't feel like the investment was worth it. But I was also chasing wireless when it may have been too immature.

 

Yikes! I'm really lucky Beans doesn't care one bit about cords! I listen to music so much and play things that require full surrounding awareness that I needed a nice pair. Well worth the money imo.

 

Not totally the same but...I feel this way about expensive yarn. 3/4 of anything I crochet goes through a cat's mouth first. Don't want cat spit on expensive silk yarn, lol.

(Like I said, totally not the same but...oh well...)

 

My dog once ruined an entire TV because he got tangled in my headphone cable. Fun. Now I take care to strategically run them along areas he can't reach.

 

We think she thinks it means love to chew on headphone cords. She purrs loudly and looks very happy when she does it. Bastard.

 

Yeah, I take my pair of "decent" headphones and put them away every night. I can't afford buying new headphones every week lol.

 

As long as I hang mine on the hook when I'm done with em, they remain safe. I like to think my cats are forcing me to be responsible

My decent headphones stay on my desk that he can't reach, I use a cheaper pair with my TV just in case.
