    Slightly off topic cuz I don't have experience in those.

    But I did just get my first mechanical keyboard in November and ya know I felt the difference, but never really did till this past weekend. I spilled my beverage all over it mid game and had to switch over to an old "regular" keyboard for a few days while I replaced it. I was typing like I was wasted and it was so frustrating! Will never go back again haha.

    It probably varies a bit from keyboard to keyboard and how you type but it can be pretty significant. It really dulls out the sound on my keyboard.
