The purpose of this research study is to understand how individuals process information when making decisions. There are two phases to the study. Phase1a: You are being invited to first complete a screening questionnaire to determine whether you are eligible to participate in the study. You will be paid $1 for completing the screening questionnaire. We estimate that it will take 5 - 10 minutes to complete the questionnaire. Phase 1b: Those who are eligible and agree to participate in the main study will be invited to review experiment instructions and answer some questions about the instructions (i.e., instructions knowledge assessment). We estimate that it will take 10 – 20 minutes to review instructions and complete the assessment. Those who successfully complete the quiz will be paid an additional $4.
