    We don't typically get that high but we pay for it in humidity. I guess I don't notice it too much but when some friends visited from California I thought they were going to die.

    It's not uncommon for us to be in the 90s on Christmas day so I take the cold when I can. I LOVE the snow/cold weather and my dream would be to move up north enough to where it actually snows somewhat often. I'm just excited I might get to open my window in the office and get fresh air without slowly cooking.

    I know in my pic in the face thread it's snowing but it's....really, really rare. I need cold weather and snow! Plus the state just shuts down when it does snow because no one knows how to handle it.

    Hurricane? PFFT

    0.10 inches of snow? PANIC

    I'm MUCH more the cold type: Alaska, Washington, New England, but got stuck out here when I was clinically depressed. My body reacts VERY badly to heat; wound up in the hospital 5 times last year 'cause when it got REAL hot, I couldn't eat. Got so weak I'd have to call 911. But now have a GREAT A/C: changed my life.
