are you under any sort of evac order or preparedness?

yeah, oregon was crazy - i've lived there my whole life and never thought anything like that would happen - not where i lived anyway. it was waaay too close for comfort. very unsettling.

 

no evacuation where I am, evacuations are a few miles away, maybe 8-10 miles last I checked. so awful that you had to deal with that, but it's kind of nice other people know what it's like.

 

oh good, i'm glad you don't have to worry about the evac. picking through what you "can't loose". echk, surreal.

yeah, that smoke is so hard to deal with; just going outside feels so risky. sorry you're going through this - it's so disruptive and like, creepy in a way. it's like a bad dream or something.

I haven't done any of those for probably a year. Sometimes I consider them when I just need a few dimes or a dollar to round off my PE for the night - but then I remember the time I was using a script kinda lazily, and rested my wrist on the keyboard without realizing it. I shot off a blaze of submissions without checking anything, resulting in some very deserved rejections!
