Okay, Self Improvment question. Anyone got recommendations for workout videos/guides that aren't fucking cringey as all hell? I can't get behind the whole shebang of ' YEAH JUST DO IT! FEEL IT BURN! GOOD GOOD! GREAT JOB! YOU'RE DOING AMAZING! '. It feels so fake.

 

What type of exercising do you like to do?

 

No clue! Never really done much before outside of generic stretches when my body hurts. I'm just reaching out towards this so entry level I guess? I have a couple hand weighs up to 15lbs and that's it so stuff I can do without much purchase? I'm open to anything really!

I can't speak to the best workout but be aware that you will get the fastest change in body fat from lifting weights. I would recommend making sure you get some cardio as well.

Does biking count as Cardio? I had planned on using the stand bike we have. I'm hoping to start at a mile a day and work up from there.

CalisthenicMovement, FitnessFAQs, and Tom Merrick on youtube are probably the best on youtube/instagram for bodyweight fitness. They all have tons of content for beginners.

SaturnoMovement is really good for stretching and calisthenics.
