I'm waiting for double confirm, but looking over the code I'm pretty sure the v2 database is saved in the background and whatever issue you're having is likely more visual than loss of data but will dig in and make sure w/ Kada who is more familiar w/ the code in case I'm wrong lol.

We did that with this for the last like 2 months

One of the biggest issues is there is no good way to do this within Browser deployment steps.. as soon as we upgrade the extension we're stuck with all the conflicts of issues from the previous version already existing, which isn't replicated when deploying test builds to users since the "namespace" isn't kept.

This never even happened when I COMPLETELY FUCKED UP MTSv2. People have no memory, my contributions to v2 were so so so so SO much worse than anything reported here lol.

99.999999% of people are insanely chill, especially given the fact that free or not these kind of things completely bork up people's days with absolutely no warning
