Nah don't worry about it. Children develop at different stages and different ages. My kiddo was a late bloomer and took forever to freakin walk, but once she did. holy shit.

 

No, she doesn't actually have bladder control so she uses her potty but mostly just because of association/convenience. She's only 16mo lol.

But yeah she prefers showers now, no going back to baths unfortunately

And not really behind on anything, people freak over dumb shit aside from those 2 year olds who get bred by nutso parents to be world class guitarists everyone is gonna catch up / slack behind on dumb life skills like that as time goes.

Any parent who doesn't invest in a kitchen toddler tower is missing out on free maid service. It's paid off in spades. Only reason it can't make it into the laundry room is the baby/cat gate lol

 

The absolute fucking meltdown if I dare try and complete a chore at daddy speed is not worth the 2-3s of saved time.

it may have been dysfunctional but it really helped us. I didn’t know any Javascript back then and there weren’t nearly as many tools. Communities and shared scripts helped us get off the ground and over the learning curve

 

okay so lesson learned. Pop out as many babbies as quick as possible for maximum chore efficiency.

 

Oh yeah not truly worried. I don't live with the kids so my experience of them is very limited. I know they're late talkers but that seems to be normal with twins, just bad wording on my part. I would have thought showers would be easier than baths, but again I'm not the one cleaning them every day so I defer there too lol. They're a little bit older than your daughter I think, almost 2 years at this point ish maybe I'm a bad aunt idk for sure.
