The issues there are more in the realm of financial fraud than PII issues (and that is the other half of why no worker should be dealing w/ this and its squarely in AMTs domain as the platform maintainer imo)

Thank you for the explanation. So there's no way to return the money to them via Mturk? Mturk customer service doesn't care, I guess, lol. Sending money to them via PayPal seems sketchy to me. Ugh, I don't know what to do. : ( I don't want to get into trouble and have my account banned or something.

 

There are like half a dozen other reasons not to touch this as a worker I'm jjust too lazy to go find my previous rants on this topic lolol

 

I don't think you will have to worry about that, this happened to me years ago, it wasn't 19 diff bonuses, but just one bonus bigger than it should have been. They did it to a bunch of workers, and many workers just ignored the email asking for it back.

 

And it just keeps going.
