The desktop version is the only thing worth using, but once you have a full week of charts you'll never be able to stop. I mean idk for everyone but I've never gotten more than like 10-15 out of range and I think I've only done so 2x in life (once when work had me traveling like mad for a full year and then this past year because.. well *gestures broadly* lol) and I'd honestly attribute it mostly to cronometer being so amazingly judgmental if you do start to drift lol.

Also buy a $20 scale off amazon that auto-syncs to fitbit, and cronometer will pull in that + your activity from fitbit and it becomes mostly automated if you standardize your diet a little bit.

Scale I just got to replace last one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078HW8BPY/?tag=thtv02-20 - really good for multi-member household because it'll sync to each individual phone so all you have to do is install their malware on all the phones of people who want to track their individual stats and it'll only upload the weight metrics to the one that is actually open when the person stands on it. Fair warning though the platform is TINY AF, full grown men will need a teeny ounce of balance lmao

Duhhhhhhhhh. Cronometer is also older I think lol. I have data back from at least 2015/6 IIRC. The issue is it's very spreadsheety, the mobile app is absolute trash, and you have to customize the UI a bit for peak performance. Here is how my layout is, I haven't put as much time as I'd like to completely fix their awful UI but it's at least a bit more usable and gives me the HUD type style I want:



I just recently upgraded to their nutritionist plan or w/e because they do calculations for 6mo old+ so baby girl is getting her own stat tracking going early the fact it actually does micronutrients, and mostly does them properly, is just too good to use anything else IMO though it sort of forces you to eat "real" food since the full micronutrient database (NCCDB) is limited to raw ingredients in a lot of cases.

I'm always surprised that given the value of the data, and how many tech types are into biohacking/etc, there isn't a "better" product in this particular space but
