1. The forum & main site will stay up indefinitely after MTurk shuts down in case anyone needs anything. I assume a handful of things will break after MTurk vaporizes & I'll fix it as fast as I can to keep the two main parts of the site online.

I need to back up my hard drive, and it's been a while since I've purchased an external hard drive. I'm leaning towards one of the smaller Western Digital drives. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with them? Would you recommend a different brand?

I'm looking for a 1-5TB hard drive. Size doesn't matter too much, light and portable would be nice. Usb type-c would be great, but it's not a must. $150 limit.

    Thank you :)

you might get more responses if you post this in the daily thread as a lot of people never really venture away from there
