Anything that can install Windows 10 is probably good enough. Your internet connection will have 800x more impact than hardware limitations but the stability of your internet is what matters not the speed (..well, to an extent). If your ping to Amazon's servers is really bad or inconsistent (packet loss) that affects your ability to catch work more than any hardware piece will IMO. But that isn't really QBC specific anyway that's just in general.

An SSD is probably the only thing worth investing in hardware wise.. and again that's not really anything to do w/ QBC just general PC performance for a work machine

CT is right about SSDs. Take an older box with a 5400rpm HDD, and swap it out for an SSD and the machine will feel 10 years newer. Hands down the best hardware upgrade you can do now that Moore's law is out the window.
