If you're using MTS you should have access to HIT Tracker, which will store everything you've done. You can also search for StudyLab and see if any are available to you. Make sure to also do all the amazon screeners for other quals.

I would probably focus on getting to 1000 approved as soon as you can, even if penny hits. I remember stuff opening up at that level. (been awhile since I was new)

If you're using Panda Crazy you may like Hit Forker instead of the MTS Catcher. I use PC and Forker and then MTS for tracking the work I've done.

 

i started of using scripts and panda crazy and then i found out about QBC and it made my life way easier sure it costs $20 a month but with how much it helps that first day paid for itself

 

Honestly, I hardly care about the pay rate, I just wish there were HITS available to work on, but there isn't any 75% of the time I search.

Thanks for the advice, I have heard other veterans say that. Unfortunately at this time there isn't enough HITs for me to do work at all. I'd say about 75% of the time I search for HITs available to me, there are not any to do. My "catcher" catches nearly nothing, and even if I chose to do those .05 receipt transcriptions that take 30 minutes, it would still take far too long to ever get to 10k HITs. I'm thinking this isn't a viable option if you're new, now, I'm thinking it's just too oversaturated, or not enough HITs anymore. I mean I know it is the case but i just keep being positive every day and hoping it isn't.

 

All I can say is it takes a bit of patience and a good amount of time invested to start seeing better HITs. Like for my first month, I was really lucky if I made it to $10 in a single day.

 

Thank you, yes I would do any penny HITs I see, but they aren't there the large majority of the time. And I checked the tracker, I've done one StudyLab HIT. Haven't seen any others available yet.

These all require 0 HITS done, drop throughout the day.

If you have 0 hits showing, you might have too high of a screener on. There's quite a few hits up now that have no requirements, other than being the US.

 

Ok assuming you didn't biff the survey then you should get CR1 which will open up surveys to you. It takes a few days to show up if you did HIT recently. You mention searching for HITs -- are you manually looking or are you letting finder run all the time?

One thing to consider is that most Universities and other businesses have gone on break for the holidays. Things tend to slow down with folks being on vacation.

 

Are you able to do screen recording and have a microphone? UserBob puts out HITs now and then, too. I don't do them anymore because I don't want to put in that effort, but I remember them being easy to do. They stick around too so you'd be able to find a few to do each week. There's a qual HIT for those too. Not sure what the requirements for them are.

 

I'm looking mainly using the finder, but also searching through manually, because the finder isn't working most of the time. It just causes an overload error and the catcher ends up maybe giving me 1 HIT.

 

How do I know what qual HITs I need to do for things ? Because I'll do anything, any HIT I can.

 

I guess that explains the discrepancy in bonus. It warned me some might be difficult and letters/numbers might look similar but mine were all totally simple

 

Okay. You need to alter your preferences. There's a way to get the Finder to only pull up HITs you're qualified for. I'd hope that would get rid of the overload error. Also make sure your page size isn't crazy large. I kept mine at default.

Conversations like these. Seeing them pop on finder. Hard to know to be honest. Mturk is awful with finding out how to gain quals.
