Description: In this research project, we are investigating how people make financial decisions. This study will take approximately 40 minutes to complete. It includes a financial decision-making task; questions about emotions and vocabulary; and a health and demographic questionnaire on age, gender, ethnicity, income, language and health. Up to 18 individuals will be invited to participate in this study. To participate in this study you must be 60 years of age or older and you must be comfortable reading and writing in English. You will receive $5 for completing this study. If you do not feel comfortable participating for this amount of compensation, we kindly ask that you not participate. This study has been reviewed and approved by the Ryerson Research Ethics Board (REB 2021-269).
